I forgot the stats, but I think JJ Reddikk spoke on the percentage of men who play some level of professional basketball based on height and it was pretty interesting. The reason people assume you play ball if you're over 6'5" is because a great percentage of men that height make it to the pro level somewhere (even if not the NBA).
To the pro level...meaning an even greater percentage play college ball...and probably damn near all of them played high school ball
exactly ...
Imagine not wanting to play ball at 6'5"+ when, at the very least, you have a great shot at getting a full ride scholarship to college.
