When i watched the game against the Knicks on Wednesday night, Walt Frazier made the observation that i had been saying so far in the early season: what Harden is doing is most definitely sustainablr. Dude is goin have at least a dozen triple doubles this season but whats so impressive to me is how he's doin it, or more importantly hows he isn't doing it. Clyde made a comment comparing how hardens getting his stats compared to how a russell westbrook gets his. Both are inpressive bbut harden doesn't have to work his body so hard to get his. Like he said somethin to th effect that Westbrooks body wont hold up over the course of the season carrying his squad because he put so much strain in his body and relys a lot more on his explosivenss and athleticism to help him through the games. When Harden is creating for his teammates, its more about what he sees developing vs with westbrook hes spending a lot of energy breaking down the defense, sucking them in, and kicking it out. Like it looks like Harden works a lot less to get his assist totals than Westbrook and Houston still has horrible floor spacing. Walt Fraizer was basically sayung it wont be surprising if Westbrooks gets injured and then it wont be surprising when Harden finishes the whole season sustaijing his early season numbers relatively healthy.

Im telling you right now, Harden goin have the best season this year outta all the stars. If Houston can get 50+, he goin have the numbers to get that mvp trophy.

I agree , he does it effortlessly

Russ on the other hand looks like he will break down at some point this season putting up these numbers
Yep Antoni already said he might be the best player he ever coached and John Lucas compared to Magic Johnson.

"He's really, really, really good. He's reeeeeeally good," Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said, running out of superlatives in the season's second week. "He just sees the floor really well. He just has a unique ability to be able to play and notice stuff ahead.

"(Steve) Nash was like that. The great players, LeBron (James), are like that. They just see the game in slow motion or one step ahead. He plays at a very easy pace.

hes been putting up 30+ points with 15 fukkin assists. but its being ignored for some reason while Westbrooks 44 shots game has multiple threads. Im a Westbrook fan myself and rooting for him but its wrong to ignore Harden's greatness.
Its expectd though. Westbrooks game is more explsoive and flashy which makes it way more attractive to watch. It caters much better to the casual baksetball fan.

Media is still trying to figure out how to eat crow on trashing him last year without making themselves look worse:manny:

Harden and Durant are neck and neck for best offensive players the league

except the only talent Harden has is himself
