I was just thinking how most of the shyt I do today was practically impossible just 10 years ago.
Just think about it. 10 years ago there was no youtube/hulu/streaming video. If you wanted to watch something you had to catch it on TV. If you missed it, you were shyt out of luck unless the networks decided to replay it. Now I barely watch live TV. I spend more time on youtube, hulu, and watching streaming sports than tuning into the TV. And if I do watch TV, its usually something that I DVR'd. I fukking can't stand commercials so Live TV is practically extinct to me.
Next, there is mobile computing. Every second I'm outside, I'm either texting someone, surfing the net, or listening to music on my smart phone. All of that was not possible just 10 years ago. Its crazy to think that 10 years ago, Google barely existed. I can barely comprehend the reality that 10 years ago I had to carry a bulky CD player to listen to music. And if I wanted specific songs from specific artists I had to create a mixtape.
Nowadays I can keep up with all my friends from college by checking facebook or twitter. If someone is getting married, you'll know about it instantly. 10 years ago, if a friend switched schools, that was the end of it. You never heard or saw that person again. Now you can keep up with anyone's life even if they live thousands of miles away.
And finally porn. God damn I remember being like 13 and seeing my first internet porn. That shyt was just pics. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like for young'ns nowadays when they beat off to internet porn for the first time.
So many streaming sites so much porn. It must be a goldmine for 12-13 year old now.
All this leads me to ask WTF is life gonna be like in 10 years. Technology has changed the way I live so drastically in the past 10 years, I can't even imagine what will be possible in the next 10. Google Glass, driverless cars, etc. shyt is about to get live.
