That's it 90% of the time. Most hookups don't happen cuz the guy doesn't take the shot..."pickup tactics", corny lines, and alcohol just give the guy the confidence to actually take the shot.
The other 10% of the time you're actually changing her mind with the convo, but you gotta put in WORK to be successful there... just look at how hard it is to change someone's mind about some meaningless topic posted on here

i used to be an advocate for this stuff but found out it wasn't working too well. it doesn't work with black women at all and won't work if your a black male trying to bag a white women

the only thing that DOES WORK for sure is dont chase women. its stupid and fukked up the games we initially have to play but it is what it is

Too loud and too many distractions

this most of the times. but at the same time good game will give your stats a significant bump. and can OCCASIONLY make a girl who decided she wasn't giving you a shot second thought...
but i also agree with the dude who said some of that stuff depends on culture too. some of the advice from pick up artists "gurus" would apply from a white man but would seem corny coming from me.
i generally hate pickup routines/"tactics". i think a lot of them are contrived, lame and only work on certain types of girls. having said that, i would only recommend two things to people who want to increase their pull game.
1. listen to the GunwitchMethod tapes.
2. listen to ALL episodes of the Black Phillip Show.
