Punk vs Daniel Bryan, Over the limit 2012

Not a single fukking word spoken during Daniel Bryan's entire entrance. He got a good response nothing amazing. They were doing nothing at all to sell this guy at all.

Punk as champion for 6 months,

Cole - "...Yup it's clobbering time...His war call is from a comic book character :martin:"

King - what's wrong with quoting the thing :dahell:

3rd from the top of the card...What was above them?

Ryback vs camacho
Johnny ace vs Cena

2012 raw sucked ASS

I've always held the theory that Punk really did leverage his post-"pipebomb" popularity into a bunch of stipends and bonuses in his contract renewal, chiefly among them was he would get to hold the title for XXX number of days.

Vince wasn't happy about giving it to him, but he did. It didn't help that Punk was pulling a 50 Cent, insinuating that he ran Interscope afterwards (I Run New York reference).

As get back, Vince gave Punk his "historicaL" title run..... but still booked Cena as champ over Punk.

But that's just my theory.

i wouldn't be surprised at all if this or something very similar was the case

i also think they greenlit the pipe bomb but didn't think he would go so far with it, the McMahons have huge egos so I'm sure they had a problem with getting called boneheads and doofuses on what was perceived as some non kayfabe shyt

Vince was a Punk fan. In fact, he was the one begging for Punk to stay when he wanted to quit. [This is all in Punk's words I should add].

Why they pushed Punk down the card while he was the World Champion still doesn't make sense. :yeshrug:
