After the early-mid 00’d your were dusty if you rocking cornrows. Now they’re cool again
It’s kind of crazy seeing Cornrows become popular again

I don't think they're popular again. it's just that nowadays it's popular to be unique. for long time, everybody wore the same hairstyle every decade. You went from everybody wearing afro's, to jerycurls to Hightop fades to wave etcs. Now everybody does something different. Some people rock dreads, some rock fros, some do waves, some do hi tops, some do cornrows etc. It's nice to see a variaty of natural black hairstyles. instead of baldies, perms and weaves all the time.
At this point, every hair style is in style from the baldie to cornrows to dreads. Even the Jheri curl is poppin.

Apparently air force ones and cornrows went out of style where ever it is.
this is kind of being disingenuous. The popularity of AF1’s and braids did sorta decline at the same time.
