I fukks with Suit & Tie, but even despite a big push to get it to top the charts, it topped out at three. Now don't get me wrong, that's amazing to get a song that high ... that doesn't come easy.

But Robin Thicke came through and crushed the buildings

Blurred Lines is the song of the summer, like it or not (and personally I love it ) ... big move for Tip's career too at this point.

Blurred Lines is a natural Robin Thicke song. That's why it worked so well. It's not a stretch for him to make a song like that.

Black Suit & Tie, while a good song, was a stretch for JT. The falsetto, the style of music, etc......remember when it first dropped everyone said it was more of a Robin Thicke song. As a solo artist, IMO, JT has never found his own sound that you can point him towards.
First album it was Neptunes sound, next album Timb/Danja, this album Timb/JRoc.

It's good music for the most part though.

i never noticed this until now but he pretty much just sounds like whatever sound timbo or pharrell give him.

i like his music, though i've yet to cop the new album.
