I suspect many to be former tokens who barely have a connnecttion to black people. Those types love speaking for the race in this era and it's probably easy to repackage self depricating racial humor.

I do wish some of us would pick our moments and be careful with the shyt we put out there, so many new stereotypes we championed thinking shyt was just a joke or pushed as a means to shame our guilty only for the rest of us to have to deal with a misconception.
