I would think that, under normal circumstances, you would not go out to eat, when you can get the food you want people to cook for you and bring to your table for you for 30-50% less at the supermarket.
No I know families that are living paycheck to paycheck & are barely making it.

But loving parents still want to take their kids out time to time.

I understand what you are saying, as I said, under normal circumstances, under the circumstances you pointed out, don't tip, there is no law against it.
Attacking democrats over this, though.....:troll: for no reason LOL

so they're 'barely making it' but they're out at restaurants racking up bills to the point where the TIP would put them in the red ? :gucci:
YES
There are absolutely familes not going out until a good groupon deal comes so they can take the family out.

So to answer your question YES

restaurants have tried...it doesnt work.
Employees dont work as hard.
People dont order as much because of higher prices.

Service you get in America is head and shoulders above other countries.

okay so if it's a groupon deal then how expensive can the bill possibly get? :stopitslime:

a $50 dollar meal would require an $8-$10 tip.

a $100 dollar meal would require a $15-$20 tip.

how is this unaffordable. :stopitslime:

Come on man..
Dems are so out of touch
They usually have no idea what they are fighting for.
Lets be real
I think some folks high up in the party, establishment politicians in the party, are out of touch to some degree, but i think the base of the party, for the most part, is legit. I'm a democrat, so I'm not going to sh1t on my party, I think we can rally and come back on top, and I do think that we want to help people that are struggling, instead of telling everyone to fend for themselves. I have my own personal stories where I needed help, and thankfully that help was available to me and my family, because of the ACA, so for that alone, I will be loyal to the party, and Obama.
Don't know why you are trying to derail your own thread.
