a $50 dollar meal would require an $8-$10 tip.

a $100 dollar meal would require a $15-$20 tip.

fakkit Negged back. I tip (in practice, when appropriate) so my argument must be tightly sealed. Im arguing against myself because I have a fukking passport (which I used) and found out how numerous other countries have gotten it right while your hoe ass tips for a Mountain Dew at 7-11, making u feel better than you really are.

I've been to numerous countries. Some tip, some don't. What you are failing to account for is that in many of these countries the service charge is already included in the fee (you're tipping by default).

What about people who cannot afford to tip?

I'd say their priorities are a little messed up if they are eating at restaurants but literally can't afford a 5 dollar tip.


I believe people should tip but I don't think there should be an amount that your expected to tip. I tip whatever I feel like giving at that time, fukk 13%.

I've always wondered why.

Large tips should be reserved for large groups.

If me and my girl decide to get the most expensive thing on the menu, why should my tip be any more than what I'd be expected to pay if we just got salads??
