and yet you'll continue to read what I write with open eyes. We know the difference between an ignorant nikka, and an articulate intelligent one. If I was a spewing ratchet bullshyt, not only would you have forgotten what I write in other threads, you'd have long hit that ignore button or automatically skipped my sn when seen in a thread.

I don't expect everyone to like me, understand me, or even perceive my text accurately (it's the internet, much like sarcasm doesn't translate, other things won't unless you see the persons face/expression/tone of voice) and that's fine, this isn't a popularity contest, and chances are I'll never see any of you ever in my life.

What I will say, is I stand in what I believe, and I think ratchet people should be labeled that, I think hood nikkas should too (hell, most label themselves that with pride) and educated people have the right to want to be labeled in their own category. I don't want to be a 'real nikka', I want to be a 'regular black man'

Being an ignorant nikka and an articulate intelligent one are not mutually exclusive. And in the eyes of society it doesn't really matter which one you are. So by pointing out the ones you deem as ignorant nikkas. You are only reinforcing the notion that all of us are ignorant nikkas.

I don't know how Im letting white people off the hook when Im not even talking about them. I clearly stated earlier this is within the community. I'm not apart of the cac discussion going on in this thread, that's some other people.

What I'm talking about, is black people themselves not being capable of differentiating themselves. I find it funny we can call nikkas cornballs, uncle toms, but as soon as someone educated wants to differentiate themselves from hood nikkas, because he worked hard, apparently he's trying flex an superiority complex, he thinks he's better? . Apparently he's trying to break away from the group, however when a nikka is a square, is that not what hood nikkas were doing all along? Now if the person is successful you want to claim him? *nah*. Hood nikkas differentiate themselves, so why can't educated blacks? Now we have a problem all of a sudden? Now all of a sudden one group thinks they're better than the other group.

I found it funny this dude was like "white people will still view you as a nikka" and I wrote "I dont really care, as long as when I walk past him in line, I know between a hood nikka and me, Im making his soul burn the most" that nikka said I called folks peasants. Clear display of ones inferiority complex in just one line. Its the crab in a barel mentality, you see a successful black man, you'll do anything to tear him down. "that nikka thinks his shyt don't stink", "they aint real nikkas". Funny how this works.

Okay, you as a black man differentiating yourself is a lot different then the way whites who use the "******s vs black people" shyt to differentiate us use it,if you are not using it the same way they are using it to separate us I can respect that line of thinking....Its a debate that's been ongoing among blacks for hundreds of years. So I just hope black people who are cosigning the "******s vs black" people shyt like op said,are aware the way they might be doing it is waaaaay different then the way whites who are using it to justify they own ignorance are using it....I think we can all agree NO BLACK PERSON should be cosigning a white person using this argument,or even put it out there like that as its just being used as a device to justify ignorance.

I definitely call nikkas squares and corny but that was some kid shyt and as you mentioned seeing sumbody different in my very limited scope....as a grown man if I say a nikka corny its just cuz I think he corny got nothing to do with his education...if I call em a c00n or uncle tom it has nothing to do with his education.....I cant imagine separating black people on that level because I no longer have that limited scope and I know good people of all backgrounds and educations now, good and bad,educated people who might be loud or participate in activites that would be considered "ratchet" in they off time but handle they business....So its just hard for me to do separating because I KNOW black people are individuals from personal experience and to deal with us each on a individual level,how can you do something you've already done.... when you KNOW black people are all different and come in different forms as much as you may or may not agree with them or find it weird, when you know we are all different and millions of separate individuals....all you do in your attempt to separate is take MILLIONS and turn it into TWO....I don't think that's the separation people who use this ideology are looking for...and you said something to this effect earlier I caught btw and thought was a good point,i just think you should stick to THAT idea instead of the one where educated people separate themselves from hood nikkas.....that's very limiting and narrowing that scope once again that leads to ignorance and hate amongst each other...I liked the individual shyt you was kickin earlier though

oh nah. I'm not even debating the ****** vs black bullshyt. ****** shouldn't be used by anyone, anytime.

As for educated vs ratchet, we already use this. We already have self proclaimed 'real nikkas' 'hood nikkas' even 'ratchets' so why is it an issue that I point this out? And why is it a problem that I want to differentiate myself from folks that have already done just that? 'the educated nikka'. Whats wrong with that? People have already given themselves a label, I think educated nikkas should give themselves one now. Why is it an issue now? Why is it seen as trying to break away fro the crowd, when thugs and hood nikkas, and gangsters BEEN doing that? They took lead in blk image because they labeled themselves that early on when regular black folks didn't give themselves a label.

I was just giving an example, you can have nikkas that are self proclaimed neo-soul, church nikkas, educated nikkas, swagged out nikkas, it doesn't just have to be 2 labels. Every race on the planet have various social sub-categories, we're the only ones that get pigeon holed and I think it effects our population and attempts to lump us all under one stereotype. by giving ourselves sub-categories (we set trends so everyone will follow suite and accept said labels), we're giving ourselves dynamics.

i believe thats beacuse of what black people went thru and how they all stood together for a long time fighting for rights...that now when they dont wanna associated with the "******s" they get scrutinized for not sticking by thier people...thats personally what i see but im white so take it for whats its worth
