They clearly are bored in the regular season and at times throughout the playoffs you can attribute these slow starts to being consciously lazy or unfocused. Whenever they play a team of their caliber they get up and rise to the occasion in a major way. There are some clear exceptions (Dallas 2011) but you could argue they got lazy being up on Dallas (aside Bron melting).

Chris Bosh & Rashad Lewis..

Chris Bosh just all of a sudden remembered his quick first step last night. Tim Duncan already has to be honest playing his jumper (which is a legit threat from midrange) but if he starts using that first step Tim can’t stay in front of him. Its not even debatable, let alone when Chris wants to start piping on 3 people. That’s retro Bosh which will cause Pop to change his whole game plan.

Rashad Lewis is out here channeling his inner Orlando/Sea. Dude is becoming a duel threat like its 05-09 again and San An has nothing for it.

Where was all this last year in the finals when they played the Spurs? Hell, where was this in the regular season? At this point the spurs are lucky the AC broke in game 1 because Miami was trying to run away with that game.

I think it's part playing up/down to their comp and part energy. They style they play on defense requires so much energy and effort that it really is hard to play like that for extended periods. You gotta factor health in too. If they had a healthy Wade last year it's a different series. If they had Wade for 70+ games this year they probably have the best record in the L. I think Bosh knows he's the odd man out if shyt doesn't go right this year and he's trying to keep his spot.

Pop better draw something up quick or this could get ugly

Im not exactly sure what he meant by dual threat, but Spo has Shard playing some excellent defense right now and dude has been spacing the floor on offense.

Hes been great

Bottomline, no one has beaten the Heat with this core and no one will unless you're the 2011 Dallas Mavericks.

Hard to beat the Heat when Bosh is balling. Wade played horrible last night.

Then Wade will fukk around and drop 23-25 the next two games :wow:

It's just hard. I haven't seen Bosh do that in years. His big games lately have been threes and mid range jumpers combined with blocks and rebounds.

Last night was wild. He was jumping out the gym.. And 1.. Blowing by nikkas
