It's not a good idea to wear a nice graphic tee out in public more than once

I caught an embarrassing L a few years ago at a whole foods of all places. It used to be this cute cashier that'd spark up a convo and talk when I was checking my stuff out and one day I wore a shirt(i don't even know where that shyt at) that said some shyt on there.

Fast forward a week later and I happen to be wearing that same shirt. I then go to her lane to checkout and then as she's bagging my stuff she goes "OH I remember that shirt! you wore that last week! "

Me:what's the total?

her: yeah I remember that last week lol it's a nice shirt. Oh swipe your card there

Me: Yeah it's not working

her; Okay here try now. Yeah i like shirts like those they're funny.

*Walks out while receipt is printing*




I never wore that shirt out again. She said it so loud too. It felt like the entire store got silent as she said it.

I went there a week later and checked out at a different lane. Couldn't risk her spotting something wrong and putting it on blast. It's hard trying to look fly when shyt like this happens. I prefer to wear a solid black t and a chain with some jeans/sneakers. Graphic tees and jeans are a no no.

Honestly most of my tees now are solid colors for reasons similar to this. Nothing worse than posting a picture on social media of you wearing the same graphic tee multiple times.
