the day he breaks the record he should walk into the arena with a goat like
manandgoat1.jpg

or multiple goats and when asked he can say hes either the goat. Or in the case with multiple goats he can say he's among the goats

You know Kareem was out there at age 42 right. He os doing it is 6 fewer seasons.
thats not accurate. It’s all about games not seasons. Kareem went to college for 4 years.

Kareem played in 1560 games
Lebron is at 1394 games played.

By the time he breaks it, he will have done it at least one seasons worth of games faster.

If he averages 20 PPG and plays every game (not likely), he'd break the record vs OKC. Otherwise, he'll definitely break it within this window of games.

Sunday, March 5 @ home vs Golden State on ABC would be the most marketable.

I wouldn't be surprised if the league is pushing for this scenario as well.

It's a great achievement but the longevity is the main factor...

If he did it in a shorter amount of years I would be super impressed

It's still a great feat

But he’s still a damn near elite player in year 20. No player in NBA history has ever looked this good this late into a career.

Kobe & Dirk played 20 years & they don’t have the record. It’s longevity & him still being one of the best players.

Yeah longevity and great health

Before kobe tore his Achilles he was avg 27 a game if he never tore his Achilles he would have been efficient and a 23-27ppg scorer till he retired
