We could bring them here just like we did for certain Iraqis after the first Gulf War. Moved them outside of Detroit if I'm remembering right. But they need a couple of things to head this way...

1. Money.
2. Western Culture Adaptability.
3. Future generations that can contribute to our society. Future doctors, engineers..stuff like that.

Those are just the rules.

LOL Hey, I'm sorry those are the rules. I don't make the rules but those are current rules America has made over the past 25 years after Reagan's amnesty of the Cubans in Florida. These people put their neck on the line but they won't be the last people we screw over....it's a dirty game out here. Spend a day watching asylum hearings for foreigners and you will start to learn the game.

Those guys are some of the bravest people I ever met. They were promised a lot of things. My first time over, our terp was a Christian dude and he couldn't wait to get the fukk out of that country. We kept in touch by email for a while but the line of communication broke down. Our second time, one of terps was an older man. He used to be a professor. He would tell me about all sorts of things about Islam, Iraqi culture and how he missed teaching. He would ask us to buy soccer jerseys and he would pay us. Great man.

I'm ashamed to admit that this has been the first time I thought about them in years. They definitely deserved to be given a new life here.
