Yea, watching the former players turned talking heads break it down, it seems like he hasnt show he has "it", production wise. If the team felt he could produce/handle more than he would be getting the ball like other talented RBs were.

Drafting a player like that is a luxury. Not a top 10 pick. He’s the type of player you pick if you already have a great offensive line and solid defense. The Raiders wasn’t talented enough to take a running back with the 6th pick.

Way too soon but running backs drafted that high supposed to come out the gate looking great. I think it was a mistake for a team like the raiders to draft him that high, he'd be better suited on a more established team

The supporting cast on the team is no help to him but you have to handle situations like this the way Saquon did on the Giants. He had a 12 yrd run the other week where he lowered his shoulder and ran over a guy. Got to have like 2-3 eye catching plays like that every game. He can go 16 for 50 yds or whatever just show signs in the rare times the oline sets it's blocks up
speaking of blocking it doesn't help that he got benched for not being able to pick up blitzes

There's only so much you can do when you're getting hit in the backfield on half of your rushing attempts. He's looked pretty explosive when he's had holes to run through.
He did that just fine in the game vs the Pats.
he's also getting hit behind the LOS at a ridiculous pace. The o line is just trash, the raiders shouldn't have drafted him
