BMI doesn't take into account: fitness level, genetics, body type, muscle mass, age or gender. Which is why I said an inshape Kobe, according to The chart, would be considered overweight. A world class athlete. That's why it's not a perfect standard to go by. According to the BMI I'm supposed to be 105 poundsIm not good with guessing weight.
I have only heard overweight black women complain about the bmi.
Does your doctor ever suggest that you lose weight?
That being said it's more overweight white folk. So wouldn't that make them look just as bad?

I think some of your facts about bmi are wrong but I also think bmi is some what out of date but I'm not gonna dismiss it as a white people scale cause it doesn't align with what I think is healthy.

It's been researched and refuted by medical professionals. Google is your friend. Also black, white,Indian,Asian etc have different bone structures and hold weight differently. BMI was based on white people. Matter of fact, Asians have thier OWN BMI that they follow. That looks nothing like the one everyone else does.

My preferred weight is 150. I had a baby, so I have 25 lose. If I was 105 pounds I'd be starving and miserable. I don't use a particular scale. I just take into account my doctors and nutritionist opinion and advice. And at present time I have no issues that they are concerned about since I'm actively working on losing that extra weight.Gotcha. What scale do you use.
