Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Hideo Itami hurt his neck at a recent NXT live event and we’re told the injury will keep him from wrestling for months.

The injury occurred while taking a powerslam gone wrong during a tag match on October 1st where he teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura to take on Riddikk Moss and Tino Sabbatelli.

No word on his exact injury, but we’re told it’s related to his neck.

Itami recently returned from a shoulder injury that kept him out of action for over a year. He and Kota Ibushi were also just announced as a team in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic — which he more than likely won’t be able to participate in now.

Have international stars wrestle guys green as grass and actually take bumps.
Exactly. This is why the NXT roster is a mess. You've got top level international talent toiling away and spinning their wheels by working with some of the greenest guys on the WWE payroll. It doesn't make sense. Why sign these guys and waste them in Florida? So they can "pay their dues"? :camby:

It's a shame for both guys because I actually like Riddikk Moss, too. Dude has good presence, promo skills and a good look.

He'd be better off going to LU and working with them for a few months and getting some US exposure that way, but WWE it isn't happening..
i lowkey feel the same way about nakamura, no way he should still be fukking around in NXt, Roode and Ares included
