It is. It’s a good consumer move but the deadline article acknowledges Wonder Woman is going to lose money. Pretty sure the matrix will also along with Godzilla and Kong.

the person who figures out how to make movies at the same size and budget of Wonder Woman and tenet while also streaming will be lord and ruler of the world.

This is wise. Consumers will flock to this. HBOMAX maybe has 15 million subscribers. By the end of 2021 with all these movies dropping they could have 150 million subscribers. This a game changer.

All the other studios will have to consider making this move.
