What prevents someone from establishing a religion today that says Race A is inferior and the offspring of Satan...therefore we cannot serve them at our establishments?

I know that this is a ridiculous example (hopefully). I'm just using it to highlight a potentially very slippery slope in protecting folks' religious freedoms.
