It's ridiculous how GTA gets held to a much higher standard than the rest of the games in its genre

Its an open world game in 2014 marketed as next gen that allows you to drive boats and swim you fukking retard...Its only logical that there should be chases on water but there isn't making it very easy to avoid cops by simply jumping in the water...hence why it's gamebreaking...

If you still cant comprehend this simple logic and how utterly stupid it is to draw a comparisson to a car saving bug than fukk out my thread fakkit...

You obviously mean modern city open world games cuz Ubisoft Montreal been making games like this since AC...This game even has AC features in it...

GTA4 was the first R* game on the new RAGE engine yet that game didn't get a pass from anybody that wasn't paid to review...Why should Watch Dogs?

yeah their 1st modern open world city/sandbox game. and yeah it has obvious hints of AC4 all over it- the running animation, the swimming animation, hell even the outfit(s) has the same traits.

but gta4 being the first on the rage engine and watch dogs being the first on the disrupt engine, (time eras excluded) i'd say W_D was the better game of the virgin engines games.

Ok I see you are slow and dont understand logic. No one gives a fukk about police boat chases. Its not fukking gamebreaking dipshyt. Silly and terrible oversight? Yes. Ruins the entire experience of the overall game? No. Only an anal fakkit would say that. The car glitch(which was patched weeks after when the majority of ppl completed the game and not immediately like you are insinuating) had a major impact on a key feature of the game. Not to mention the deleted saves/absolutely broken online. And this game was not being touted as next gen. Its cross platform and has been in development for 8 years. It was shown in 2011. Get your fact straight and maybe you wont be disappointed

I dont agree with WD being better than GTA4 but this post is perfectly logical...

They both had their pros and cons like every game...GTA4 was lacking in content which WD has a lot of but GTA4 was a lot more polished...In terms of fun though content makes up a big portion of that so I can see why one would prefer WD over GTA4...TBOGT made up for a lot of GTA4s failures though...
