I really didn't give too many fukks about the streak outside of two matches before he fought HBGOAT. It was just something that happened every wrestlemania and it was understood that Taped Fists Mark wasn't gonna job to anybody.

as far as public interest in the streak, orton's legend killer gimmick put it on the map.

HBK and Taker's matches are definitely the classic matches from the streak. The HBK matches had that "aura". A different environment for Taker matches since. The last two HHH matches definitely had that feeling too.

The Punk/Taker buildup is living up to the hype so far. And its a safe bet that the match is gonna be another "spectacle" at WM.
