Then January I lose my grandmother who was like a mother to me and lose my job six months later. Now I’m sitting here with an unemployment wondering if my career over.

You sound really reflective about it all...which can be invaluable at positioning yourself for what is coming in this new season.

I say new season because with the death of your grandmother and losing your job, I'm sure life as you knew it before ended in a lot of ways.

Endings are often beginnings for new lessons and experiences.

All that said, my condolences about your granny, and I hope you bounce back in your career - whether it is still be in law or something new entirely.

The fact that they let you get a luxury rental should have told you they ain't bout ish and to watch yourself. No client would approve that and neither would a good law firm for someone that is not a partner or some ish. a reasonable partner probably wouldn't even try to be flossin at a conference

Edit- not sure what type of law you focused on but look beyond working for a firm, compliance for any company, insurance companies, real estate, anything that involves contracts
