I always thought you needed a deep fryer but nope. Get a pot, put about 1 - 2 inches of oil (olive oil is healthiest). Let it boil and put in the potatos
Make sure they're russet potatoes. Skin them, cut them into strips, rinse off any left over dirt. Then season them with a little salt and pepper. Fry them for a good 10 - 15 minutes to get them crispy.
