John Constantine
Manchester Black( I saw dude on The CW and I think he was just miscast in terms of personality tho)
Fantastic Four
Superman
Professor X

Superman and Fantastic Four, I think just because of their status as being so loved, that it could only come from being white realistically.

if they were Black they'd experience a lot more mistrust.
Constantine and Manchester Black, idk, they just seem very white.
Professor X, he's so arrogant I feel like that came from his white background.

Some of the others I can't explain

And then it's other characters I want to see Black or wouldn't mind:

Cyclops
Rogue
Gambit( but I think part of his appeal is he's a cool, Cajun white dude)
Wolverine( I think he should be Native or Asian)

BRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKLLLLLYYYYYNNNN
Gambit could be some lightskin creole kid looking like Chris brown. Wolverine could be Hispanic (Sergio Peris-Mencheta from snowfall). I could also see Constantine being black. Matterfact, anyone that dabbles with spirituality can be black.

I'm cool with race-bending any character as long as their race isn't a part of their origin/character.

That is why I am not going to be bothered when they make the Fantastic Four multi-cultural.

Sue, Reed and Johnny could all be any race...Ben is the only one who I think needs to be white because he's a Jewish guy from a family of Jewish immigrants who originally settled into the Lower East Side after WW2.

White culture has subtle influences on a characters attitude imo

And if Superman was Black he wouldn't be loved

I agree that a black Superman changes the entire character unless you do some color blind situation where race just isn't addressed.

A black Superman would never be the "Truth, Justice & The American Way" type of character.

He could be but he'd be a c00n

But even a c00n wouldn't be universally loved

i mean, blue marvel pretty much gets the black superman treatment and had to be told to retire because america wasnt ready for him...

i think reed could work as a black person though, his autism could help him cope with the snide remarks, but he would definetely get a bunch of " being exceptional for your race" comments

characters that i think either wouldnt work being non white would be magneto and captain america for different reasons

max being anything other than black but kicking that make way for homo superior knowing many people that look like him all over are suffering makes him look like an A grade clown who couldnt stand with his own and decided to run with people with powers instead and steve rogers would definetely get the blue marvel treatment. hed have to be covered up or america would turn on him

and there was a black cyclops, but he was a union soldier during the civil war.

Fantastic four needs to be all white or all black no in between
It would be cool seeing a black scientist though
BUT I know what you mean reed richarfs has that smug attitude a lot of white educators have.

So Cal
How do you determine who noone cares about, rather than noone knows about?
I really meant "no one knows", but if they're mainstream or not. Like marvel did it, but they could've did it a bunch more in their MCU. Most of these characters the general public wasn't aware of until the MCU. But don't go changing wolverine and Peter Parker and shyt.

Imo the fact johnny and sue were siblings made that dumb. Changing reed or dr dooms race would make more sense

I don't mind it if the comic has multiple versions like Green Lantern. The only acceptable one so far has been Nick Fury. They need to just start highlighting their non white characters more instead of switching the races up.
