Atlanta is the shyt, and I love this city, but this shyt be so funny to me. Especially being from Chicago, where snow and ice is the norm and it literally doesn't affect shyt.

My boss came to me yesterday and was like, work from home tomorrow cause it's gonna be crazy. I looked up the weather and saw it was gonna be 35 degrees with a chance of LIGHT snow

They sending out weather advisories at the job and shyt. People are seriously going to grocery stores and stocking up on water and bread

A lot of companies giving employees the day off. People at my job canceling meetings cause a lot of us stayed home today. This shyt is out of control

It's only funny cause Chicago has a decent size budget for snow removal, Chicago is flat, and Chicago area residents are accustomed and know how to drive in icy/snowy conditions.

Yeah I know that Atlanta isn't prepared for shyt like this, but it's not like a blizzard is coming. They are literally worried about ice. But my aunt told me that like 2 years ago it was a big mess because the roads were icy and it was big traffic jams and people started running out of gas and was stranded in the cold all night. I was like over some damn ice But she explained that it just gets like that down here due to them not being used to this type of weather. I get it, but I was like, we talking about ice tho
