Not doubting you, but I'd love to read more on the bolded if you have a source.

Mostly interested in seeing why they would hone in on that one show when there was a good bit of Black shows on Fox that were unabashedly influenced by hip hop / urban culture in the 90s.
Oh no FOX had issues with ALL their "urban" shows. They didn't like being viewed as a "black" network. There's a reason why Living Single, Martin and In Living Color only ran five seasons.
