That would be one of the biggest pandemic-era openings, helping to further reinvigorate a box office that had languished with few new releases and many closed theaters.

I would make the set up that humans can do fireballs and all that shyt through training but most dont because of weapons and all that. M bison is still a brutal dictator who on top of having nuclear weapons has just unlocked psychic and telekinetic abilities thanks to capturing and stealing the power of a fighter who mastered that ability. He then hosts the street fighter tournament so he can attract fighters so he can steal there ability if he he thinks it is useful.

Bison is an international criminal who holds a tournament at a secret location every year because he needs the blood of fallen warriors to unlock the Satsui no Hado and make himself super-powerful.
Ken, Zangief and Sagat enter the tourney to prove they are the best martial artists in the world.
Chun-Li and Guile are undercover as combatants so they can arrest Bison.
Cammy is undercover as one of Bison's 3 main henchmen.
Ryu enters the tourney to stop Bison from acquiring the Satsui no Hado and to avenge his master who Bison's other 2 henchmen Vega and Balrog murdered.
