I don't count that nonsense he did with Bishop Neru as well because he only produced it & Bishop Neru raps like a dyslexic :heh:

I love Doom but youre tripping if you dont think Operation Doomsday was his best album
I to this day have no idea why that album is so well-liked. I think it's an unlistenable cacaphonous mess today as I did when it first dropped. And I've been a fan since Mr. Hood. It's easily his worst album.

I will admit some of the songs I cant listen to on there, but there are some damn good tracks on there. I think it depended on the beat selection for the songs because I could feel certain songs and others I tended to completely ignore because the beat just didnt seem to flow with it

This is one of the wildest things I've ever read on here. Album saved rap for me along with Supreme Clientele during the worst era of black music in America's history. Sade, Anita Baker, Scooby Do, Jeffrey Osbourne, Greenbacks, ?, Issac Hayes, I hear voices, The BDP drums, The Microphone Fiends drums....cacophonous? No way. The only song I couldn't rock with was the slow it down sped it up w/ Grimm because the beat made me sea sick.

His worst stuff from his prime is the Viktor Vaughn material. CAC beats.

I liked Rhymes Like Dimes. That's what made me cop the album. I thought it sucked. I still have the cd. I tried listening to it years later a few times and every subsequent listen reconfirmed for me that it sucked. He won me back with Madvillainy.

If you have the initial subverse retail CD you could fetch over $100 for it on ebay. I had to replace mine due to scratches and I gladly paid that.
