People are still stuck on that line about "we need to elect more local black politicians and police".

  • the Black District Attorney of Brooklyn run on a reformist platform only to stab his constituents in the back by recommending no jail time for that Chinese cop that killed the brother in the stairwell.
  • The Baltimore Mayor, and Baltimore Police Chief presiding over the disaster that was Baltimore. The State's Attorney herself completely bungled the prosecution and has been involved in some shadiness in prior cases. Research the case of Keith Davis Jr.
  • Kasim Reed, current Mayor of Atlanta not only once, but twice pulled the "MLK wouldn't have blocked the freeway" card.
  • The Mayor of Denver did this victim blaming bullshyt,
  • The Milwaukee County Sheriff and his unapologetic white supremacist attitudes towards black people.
  • The numerous lower-level black cops with white supremacist views posting viral videos since the Black Lives Matter movement kicked off
  • The black politicians in congress voting to reauthorize these national security bills which give these damn departments all that robocop shyt.
  • The black politician that represents Baton Rouge(Democrat) in the Louisiana senate that fukking voted for that "Blue Lives Matter" Bill. Baton Rouge has had a Black Mayor for a long time now.

Seriously, y'all? How will more of the same people work out this time around?

I keep trying to teach Black folks about neoliberalism and how white supremacist have learned to use identity politics (black, female and gay people) to further their empire.

Just because they share the same skin, gender or sexual orientation does not make them your ally.

Obama was far from helpless....thats a narrative Black people push to exonerate all of the evil shyt he did as president.

Imo elected officials won't help bc black people have an image problem, which is part of what started the BLM movement. Black people on a general scale are devalued in contexts involving force, to the point that they are being murdered on camera with nothing being done about it. And as a historically opressed group its not surprising how easy it is for those in charge to turn the other cheek, bc as long as the blame can fall on the "other" society at large will be able to go about their lives.

And unfortunately it's an immensely complex dilemna bc there aren't any protective elements that allow black people to stick together without intrusion. No language barrier, culture that is easily appropriated to the point of farce, no history outside of mistreatment, and so on. The only thing black appears to be hood culture and that is where the image problem begins. Mainstream society is extremely isolating bc you have to leave the hood in the past, yet you can't really integrate.

Idk what can be done about the image problem bc America works by having an oppressed class, meaning the mainstream will continue to portray black people as getting their just deserts. In the end America has proven to be the emodiment of hypocrisy with the people in charge, black or otherwise seemingly powerless to do anything about it

For better or for worse:

- Integration was FEDERALLY mandated

- Civil rights was FEDERALLY mandated

The white people pick and choose Uncle Tom's to carry on business as usual. Hell if it wasn't for JFK we might still have to be attending all black schools for the most part. Wasn't J. Edgar Hoover of black ancestry? And no man has done more harm to the black community than him. The hammer has to come from the TOP to put a nail down. It's not just about having a black politician, it's about having a politician that will enforce your rights, and enforce the people he commands to enforce said rights. It took JFK sending soldiers to allow black kids to peacefully attend predominantly white schools. And you idiots are stuck on some "it's the people's fault" type steez. The people did what they could, which is elect an official who campaigned in their faces to vote him in so he could bring the change America needs. And the minorities responded. And now that he's in he's too busy and too non-partisan for us :scust:

The federal government is real good at playing both sides. Lol they took that Kendrick Johnson case and declined to press charges. The suspect's dad was an FBI agent himself.:smh: I get real nervous when people act like federal law enforcement don't ride for their own as well. That's why I fully expect those punks at the FBI Office in New Orleans to let off those scumbags in Baton Rouge in a couple months' time.:pachaha:

Thought this was directed at me at first.:skip: It's literally hell trying to plead with folks about how just easy it is for a sneaky nikka to exploit everybody else for votes and power while pretending to be reformist, like that fukker in Brooklyn.:scust:

The Truth
This nikka got like 2 months left in office... Wtf is calling him out going to do now?

He's trying to dance on a fine line thats dividing this country and as the president he's not supposed to take fukking sides in what is seemingly starting to feel like a civil war... At least not right now. Hes done enough, get at your mayor, governor, police chiefs, etc., and worry about the even WORSE president we will most likely have after him
