in the fall of 2013, at Negreet High School, in Sabine Parish, teacher Rita Roark insulted the religion of C.C. Lane, a Buddhist student in her sixth-grade science class. Roark told the class that evolution is a “stupid” theory that “stupid people made up because they don’t want to believe in God.” Roark’s science tests included a fill-in-the-blank question that said, “ISN'T IT AMAZING WHAT THE _____________ HAS MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” and students were expected to write in “LORD.”

It is in clear violation, but why would that stop them from pushing this? A lot of the time as you know its just to bring attention and to rally evangelicals because their religious freedoms are being infringed upon..... Stupid political posturing.
I forget what politician said this and its not an exact quote "If there are no problems its our job to create one" he was talking about job security for politicians. This is a perfect example of that old attitude in govt that is essentially let's look like we are doing shyt without actually doing anything to avoid alienating certain constituencies.
