how did people let this bullshyt slide? :hhh:

Yeah, I was buggin when I posted that bullshyt. :snoop:

I've been on a minor Pac run the last couple weeks and he definitely has 2-3 albums just as good or better than Blankface.

I stand by my statement that Blankface is a classic though.

I'm seeing Oxymoron is one of those love it or hate it albums

To me that album is hurt by a lot of stuff that was outside of Q's control, mainly the hype. Coming off GKMC, the hype TDE had was crazy. I remember Punch comparing it to AEOM, Mac Miller saying it was better than GKMC, etc etc.

2013 went by with no album. Then it came out a couple months into 2014 and was...dunno. It's a mixture of bangers, solid/ok radio cuts, and weird tracks. Plus one of the worst songs to ever grace my phone: Los Awesome. The lack of cohesion hurt the album for me and ultimately I was disappointed. But it's not bad, and clearly was a success for his career.

oxymoron to me is qs best work. Blank face was pretty whatever aside from groovy tony ,tookie knows and neva change. It doesn’t have replay value, in no way shape or form is it fukkin wit oxymoron. the best tracks on oxymoron are just to hard and it is one of the best albums in the the last 5 years no doubt. Schoolboy q is def one of the best artists of this era.
