reaction I got on first listen. A mainstream hip hop album that demanded your attention. A concept debut that was so cinematic it had some asking what movie did he sample?
With an album of that magnitude you would have thought his peers would want to show they tooare up to par. They too are at his bar level. But Cole, Asap, Wale and now recently Drake seem to not get the memo. All albums being pretty forgetful and not bringing any sort of buzz to the game.
K.Dot even served them directly on that notorious Control verse and what do we get in return? Wale being gassed that he got a mention, Cole being quite like a bytch and Aubrey making an album pack with ballads instead of bars.
I guess its time to crown him.
