This week on A Waste of Time with ItsTheReal, we welcome The Bronx's own Lenny S to the Upper West Side! These days he's constantly on the move as manager for DJ Khaled, Fabolous and Justine Skye, but Lenny's always been grinding, starting in the mid-1990's as a street team member for Bad Boy. Lenny shares stories about moving to Rocafella, becoming an A&R alongside Hip-Hop and Gee Roberson, working with Memphis Bleek, Beanie Sigel, Kanye West, Just Blaze, and a ton more artists. He gives insight into Jay Z's classic albums The Blueprint and The Black Album, talks about working for Def Jam, Virgin, and finally making the move to Roc Nation, and describes what working with DJ Khaled is really like. Lenny brings provides fascinating recollections, great humor, and of course, major keys on this fantastic episode!

Lol these dudes, they basically started the hiphop podcast thing.
I remember when they had Combat Jack on their show like 7 years ago.

Is it a good show that you should go back and listen to?

Isn't he like one of the guys that Jay pays to just be around to always talk good about him and the Reasonable Doubt album?
You know like Clark Kent and Young Guru?
If he is one of Jay's paid shills then I don't want to listen to him and I damn sure don't want to listen to two :wrist::wrist:s. :snooze:

they're still pretty corny and sound :queen::wrist: but they've had some good guests. I only check the episode if I think the guest will be good.

Yeah I stopped listening a while back and only pick up stray eps with dope guests too.

this wasn't as interesting as i thought it was going to be.
in fact...wasn't really interesting at all.

liked the early street team story and the bit about Fat Joe knowing that Lenny was from the Bronx so told someone that knew him and told Lenny to watch out if he was driving the Rocafella promo Benz around the Bronx.
