Bros preferably 30+ years old(or who are more successful than their peers), what advice do you have for the younger bruhs in there teens/early twenties.

What would you have done different in your earlier years if you could have went back.

Give us the knowledge!




A lot of young black males don't really have role models in their lives, so share some of the things you've picked up over the years that could lead to having a more successful life.

It's funny because I've been thinking of making this thread for a while

1) fukk everything and get as much bread as you can. Don't believe them nikkas that say dumb shyt like money ain't everything. Please believe me that it is. Get as much bread as you can legally.

2) Be as frugal as you can. Spend as little of your money on bullshyt. I'm still pushing the same whip as I did when I was making $7/hr and I buy my clothes on clearance and at good will.

3) Read. I can't stress this enough. It doesn't even matter what it is, just read. Reading opens up your mind like nothing else.

4) Invest your money. Your money should be a tool to provide you with freedom and happiness, not a tool to buy shyt with. Invest in real estate, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, mollywatr, anything. Make sure you make your money work for you.

5) Never let a woman tell you how to live your life and never tolerate disrespect from a broad. Under no circumstances.

6) Be comfortable being alone. Travel by yourself, go to movies by yourself, go to restaurants by yourself, go to clubs/bars by yourself. Once your comfortable being alone an entire new world opens up to you.

Invest that dough. Open a money marketing account at your bank. Open an IRA and a 401k. It doesn't even have to be that much but the earlier the better. Once you start making more money you can add to it

Oh, one other thing. Keep your expenses as low as possible. Seriously. Don't get in credit card debt. If you in school don't try to stunt with your refund check. If you need a car, buy one cash. The less debt you have, the more freedom you have. Before buying my house, I always kept my monthly bill below $1500/mo. Before I knew it I had enough money to take an entire year off from work, travel, party, fukk fat bytches, drink all day, and sleep until noon.

Most of the things you need to know about life are already here in the threads, but I'll contribute from my own experiences/mistakes.

1. Don't ever take advice from people who ain't got their own shyt together.
2. Don't ever put a chick on a pedestal that ain't the wife or your mother. EVER. I don't give a damn how fine she is.
3. Get that paper stacked now. Establish good credit. Trust me, I was on some ole, "I'll never use credit" stuff, but it is essential to have in CERTAIN situations.
4. Get the crazy out of your system now. Ain't nothing wrong with clubbing, slaying through a few chicks while you're young (be safe about it), but there's going to be a time when it ain't cute anymore.
5. Value the relationship you have with families. You never know when their time is up. Lost my mom at a young age, and regretted how we talked to one another before she passed.

and last and not least....

6. ALWAYS protect yourself, and don't ever trust a bytch when she tells you she's on birth control. I was a naive and horny lil sumthin back in the day. Believing that chicks had no reason to lie. Trust me, the feeling of is NOT worth 4 digits a month in child support. And that's real.

If I had to do it again and i was young right now, I'd have a Metro PCS or Cricket phone, and use my laptop to watch netflix n shyt.. you can even hook it up to your TV. I'd groupon everything i do... and I'd always think about ways to save money.
