How was itunes before this?
Anybody know how to drag and add single songs on the new Itunes? Doing it the old way doesn't seem to work because the iphone icon isn't in the top right corner and dragging the song to the icon toward the top left didn't do anything.

Make a copy of your itunes library.itl file before you fukk with this one. My library itl file got corrupted during the upgrade. When Itunes restarted I was missing around 500 albums. nikka got on them forums quick and got it worked out

I didn't have this problem, but I would have a stroke if I did, cuz I have probably 300 playlist alone I have created over the years. Redoing all those playlists would take FOREVER.

A lot of people don't realize you can back up your playlists in iTunes. Saves them as simple txt files.

so you're saying it's easy to transfer itunes and all it's playlist to another computer even if you move your music files over

To save, right click, Export.
Once it's saved just go to File->Library->Import Playlist
As long as the tracks are there, you're good.

Anyone figure this out?
From my understanding, you suppose to convert them to xml when you are exporting them. I had this issue when my iTunes start deleting my playlist and now I save them in my external hard drive just in case it does it again.
I figured it out playing around with it yesterday. You have to drag the song toward the top left now. If done right your phone should appear in the top left before you let go of the mouse click button.
