This is no way a cowboy bash thread but more of an observation.

It's been a very festive mood around the metroplex this week & no matter the race of the person ALL cowboy fans are very happy. If you didin't know the results you'd probably think dallas was either playing this week or had already won the superbowl.

My problem with that is I feel the lions were robbed in that game on the holding/PI call & also numerous holding calls on the cowboys on the drive when they were down 17-20. My question is if the lions go ahead & win that game what would the dallas narrative be today? Garrett has been a average coach throughout his tenure & he receives a 5yr deal.

I remember so many redskins fans(myself included) were so happy after we loss to the seahawks in '12 in the playoffs. We lost the game but we had the ROY in RGIII & everything around the organization was looking bright. The next year RGIII had a terrible year, our coach got fired & defense was abysmal & this was even worse.

The point is things change rapidly with so much parity in the league. Romo will be 35 next year with a bad back & still only has 2 playoff wins, the giants, redskins & eagles will be better next year. Nothing is certain but it's kinda annoying that so many local cowboy fans are drinking the kool aid, I know there are some level headed fans out there that understand what I'm saying... Agree or disagree?

maybe they are happy because the cowboys played way beyond expectations for this season, which were pretty grim

there were people in the preseason talking about the cowboys maybe having the worst defense in the history of the league this year.

they'll be doomed if they give murray big time money as they need the cap space for that (G)O(AT)-line.

imma say this again i do agree with the holding part and not pi play
wouldn't even be mad if for bryant helmet off

at same time they were plays lions didnt call for in that game it went both ways but more so on a critical drive which i can understand

at same time tho lions had plenty of time to stop dallas and didnt or score against them but didnt so its a moot point

no diff than the gb game with bryant which i felt was a catch but at same time we didnt stop rodgers either so thats on us

even if we did score i didnt have much faith in the defense to stop him dude was ripping us apart sure the momentum could of made a bigger deal and i feel more confident but i truly felt i wouldn't have been surprised if he scored against us

both team offense were destroying each other defense in that game

bottom line

lions got a L regardless of the call had time to stop us and score against us
cowboys got a L regardless of the call had time to stop gb and didnt simple as that
