it's still extremely lame that the most vocal proponents (on this forum) also have huge overlap with #BothSides and #CouchGang

I still think it's weird that everyone who disagrees is being called a tether

and it's definitely weird to lump all Africans together in response to seeing some Africans lump all Black Americans together

HOWEVER

the increasing attention on the diaspora warring recently can basically be seen as a call to action for Africans. You see it sometimes in the comments with them standing on business and standing with Black Americans. Let's get more of that. Seeing the conversations, educating, and checking the snide comments in their own families and fighting off ignorance. If you're in America be for Black America.

Basically no more quiet, assumed cooperation with Black America. Actually be vocal and active about it

agreed but what the hell else am i gonna go off with a largely online discourse

comments are discussion and a lot of us have seen over time how "just on Twitter" shyt leaks in the real world. Africans spurred to think more about their relationship to Black America and be more active about it can be a change for the better

cousin this is all we've been talking about. We fought to get you all over here to be an ally not work against us. We have enough stacked against us as black people as is. FBAs have paved the way forward, we just gotta understand and respect that as a collective.

Yeah I'm down for that, I just still think the vitriol and wide targeting gets a little too toxic but I think the energy can be honed and cultivated

The toxicity isn't going anywhere definitely as long as social media is a thing.

I'm not down with that bs at all. but most of that comes from FBAs being looked down upon by our own race of people. people we helped that we thought would understand our plight. That crap will dissipate the more we communicate, understand and respect each other.

The conservatives are playing psy-ops. Too many seek out ragebait.

In real life we all get a long 90 plus percent of the time. Too many ignorant people are allowed to voice their opinions online
