Before I was happy just being a worker bee, doing my 9-5 clocking in clocking out. But now I want more, I want to be in arole where I can hire and give black men and black women opportunities. :mjpls:

If it wasn't for my brother in law I never would have got this job, there's only two black folks in a department of like 60 and this is in a major hospital.

My tone has changed and I'm about to sign up for some management courses and further enhance my skill set.

How long were you working at the hospital before this change, and now that you are in the process of furthering your skill sets, do you feel more or less that you wasted time there? Or perhaps any regrets?
