Never had that myself but I had one try and set me up once for some supposed crime that happened in another country. THe knew I wasn't there but he tried to convince me to give my DNA at the station anyway. He wasn't even local.

My personal experience with London Met is them covering for the guy that sexually assualted me and releasing him with no further action because they had no proof he gave me a medely of drugs (3) that have never been in my sytstem prior according to the toxology report. Despite the fact i was found naked in his apartment after 2 days, spent a week in hospital due to sustained injuries, and said 65 year old man had been arrested previously for different offences including sexual assault.
The best thing about the London Met is that his brother who had also been arrested for rape spent over 10 years in jail, the difference being that he raped and assaulted a White woman.
Yeah the Met looks like it's gonna get dismantled.
Force currently isn't fit for purpose. One thing when you are incompetent, another thi g altogether when the criminals are found to be on the force. Too many rapes, murders and other violations are happening for it to survive.

There's a pattern with them when dealing with black female victims. The only reason they're in the hot seat right now is because of what happened to Sarah Everard (not those two black women who were murdered in the park and the cops shared images of their dead bodies on whatsapp) and the fact that white women are speaking up and exposing them like never before.
Obviously the black community been saying all this from the beginning, but you know how it is...

I hope it does get dismantled. Too much fukkery affecting many different groups and it's way too prolific at this point to be swept under the rug.
And I just realised next month is 30 years since Stephen Lawrence's murder
