This is a serious thread. Just came back in the house from cutting grass and filling out job applications.
Anyway, I was one of those people that had hope for this country. Centre-Leftist and believe that universal healthcare/treating minorities right is a must. Over the last couple of months I've felt a great disdain for American White people. Why? Because they purposely vote against their own interests and get angry with minorities (Blacks) for no reason. However, that's not all. With the special interest groups (big banks and etc) it will never change because it's a deep state. This country is an oligarchy that's controlled by the 1% who likes dividing people. All I'm focused on is doing me and trying to please myself. If there is a G-d, then if he's a true one he's have mercy on all Black folk worldwide regardless of their religious beliefs. At this point, if I get friends (people are opening up to me now), then I want them to be all Black.
That's just how I feel. From gentrification to greed this country won't change. My goals are to get my degree and start a few small business while I do the community organizing thing. Sad part is that we have a state election next month I'm voting, but not because I believe in the change that they promise.
I'm going to be honest, I try to create laughter to hide my true feelings. No I don't feel violent or suicidal. However, I have just started to learn what life is and it's rough/real.
I seriously thought when a half Black president won in 2008 even though my views were different that this country would change
It makes me mad when my people get shot down and mothers cry.
