I've had this huge feeling that Derrick Rose could end up like Penny hardaway..

These type of injuries make you lose speed. Rose depends so much on his speed, that's what makes him the player that he is!! The moment he went down I knew right away what the consequences would be.. I hope I'm wrong, I really do, but when he comes back, you guys think some of his speed will be gone?? will he end up like Penny and just be a shadow of his formal self??

Penny's situation was kinda different though. For one he had microfracture surgery. He was also one of the first to ever get the surgery, so the recovery timetable wasn't as concrete as it is now. Coming back as soon as he did probably fukked him up more than the actual injury

Dude tried to come back within 2 months off an operation that keeps players now out from 6 months to year.

Honestly Nate Robinson and Kirk Hinrich have held it down better then anybody expected. I dont think Rose shoots as well as those two do
