If we’re just talking music, he’s definitely right at the top of my list of favorites from this era with only Kendrick, KRIT, and Cole edging him out

fukk all that ranking man bc you never gonna come to a consensus. Just enjoy his music appreciate and support greatness when you hear it.
Been on the Gibbs train since :hamster: and was plugging Str8 Killa providing links along with Midwest and Miseducation. The man been proving himself for well over a decade. If you still can’t appreciate the clip at which he produces greatness and on some gossip girl bullshyt about Jeezy and other goofy beefs then you ain’t in it for the music and judge off the drama. nikkas who know know. He one of the more recent greats period.

Gibbs is probably the most consistent rapper in a minute espescially amongst his era. NO #1 above all

ironic that Scarface is his fav rapper, cause I consider Face the most consistent out of his gen and all time. And Gibbs is exactly that amongst his group, no bad album/project.

All facts:wow:

And to add on it’s ironic that Krit just released the 10 year anniversary/remaster for Krit Wuz Here. Gibbs and Krit were the 2 artists I was and still do ride for like crazy even back then. I think back then it was Str8 Killa and Krit Wuz Here that were released around the same time.

what hes missing that a lot of top 20-30 dudes have all time is legendary songs and verses, game changers

He’s a cult favorite and is one of the best Midwest rappers

To be top anything you have to have some type of mainstream presence :patrice:

He clearly don't care about having a mainstream presence so I'm not sure how that can be held against him. I mean....he just dropped a full album with Alc. After an album with Madlib. After another album with Alc. After an album where Kenny Beats (who most people couldn't identify, at gun point) did 75% of the production.

These are not the actions of a man concerned with crossing over or having a hit.

I disagree but then again I don't think we should be discussing his all-time placement, anyway. And I'm saying that as someone that thinks he's the best rapper from the last 10+ years.

"All-time placement" is really only interesting if it's a higher slot. Because nobody wants to discuss Rapper A being #45 or some shyt. It's only interesting if it's top 5-10. And I personally wouldn't put any rapper from the last 10 years anywhere near those numbers.
