Q-Tip didn’t have this crazy image but his voice and flow was super unique. That’s the closest comparison I can draw

How did he succeed where guys like Stalley, Dave East, Dee-1 etc failed?

It isn’t even a matter of preference on my behalf. There are plenty of acts I don’t care for but I can understand the appeal
