i burned once when i was in HI.
fam told me not to fukk around because the sun was different than in NY.
i was like "chill, i never burn."
fukked around biking, laying on the beach, etc...
felt mad warm when i came home.
next day my whole face is peeling.
i fukked around and found out the limits of my melanin.

My uncle is the only black person I’ve ever known to get skin cancer. He had the little patch removed and he was fine.

Shea butter based moisturizers all you need. Got the raw shea butter as an oil and mixed it in with the rich hydrating Vaseline lotion.

I’m a little jelly at the idea of never having one. I’m a pasty CAC of Irish/English/nordic decent and been in pain so many times from the sun I lost count.

Even when I think I got a tan, it just looks like a brownish shade of red lol.
