I've heard mixed things. Some people seem to love it, some loath it.

I've heard the ending is stupid as shyt.

YES, "Lost" is worth watching!!! It's a GOAT show, IMO. Everyone who has watched the show on Blu-ray/DVD/SVOD after the series ended, loves it. The folks who shyt on the show are folks who watched the show week-to-week when it was on & got to caught up in the mysteries.

Here a couple of threads with folks discussing it:

Most overrated show ever.

yea dont listen to these cowards bruh. Everyone who swears by lost is a dope. Writers even admitted they were making it up as they went along and no one likes the ending :mjlol:

Great show. Worth watching. Youll be hooked a few eps in. A few storylines later on in the series get dumb but not enough to ruin anything. Finale was good to me but people had so many different theories that a lot of people ended up disappointed.

Lost was an amazing viewing experience and the first 2 seasons are amongst the best television you can get. After the fourth season though shyt got wayyyyyyy to convoluted and you could tell that the show runners were sticking their collective heads farther and farther up their own asses as they threw mystery after mystery into the mythology and weakly attempted to tie it all together with one of the worst cop outs of a series finale I've EVER seen. I mean that shyt was an absolute train wreck of epic proportions

I agree with all this. The 4th season was when I first got the hint that the writers were fukkin clueless.

But man those first 2 seasons. Wow.

the first few seasons were great when everything was a mystery, the explanations for the mysteries got lamer and lamer as the show goes on. but its an enjoyable ride and if they had somehow nailed the ending then the show would be looked at in an entirely different light. if you go into it with low expectations than its probably worth it. i remember watching it live on sohh for the final few seasons and it was still considered possible goat status before the finale

:wtf: The 4th season was the big bounceback Emmy season.

The reason I feel the show went downhill during the 4th season was because it felt like everything they had built up until that point was being blatantly ignored so that they could set up new plot threads and stretch out the series.

It was at that point where it became clear that the writers never had a plan. Once I grew to accept that the show became a lot harder to stomach because I knew I was being toyed with.
