get really dedicated to spreading the word(through social media moreso these days)
and even are more vocal in their lives about how people should give their lives to christ.
I dont think people understand that majority of the time that doesnt work on people the way they thinkit does. Seems like most us christians were brought closer to God through a powerful moment in life that affected us on a deeper level or even having a subtle statement speak volumes. But generically telling someone to change their lives for the better doesnt seem so effective. People have to want to seek God already for that type of message to work and if your talking to those people your already missing the mark. I know this board is full of atheist but honestly to those christians on here how many of you found the latter method a life changing thing?

Never met a real fulltime christian in my life :skip:

Always see folks whining on the internets about pushy full time christians but I've never seen these type of people that try to "bully" you into faith.

Haven't seen a jehova's witness since I was a kid

All religions stay looking for the 5 percent so they can have a secret club and commit the worst sins. Most buyers really aren't true to it. Just because people call themselves Christians doesn't make it so. Sticking feathers in your ass does not make you a chicken.

I usually avoid relgion threads, on thecoli.

Yea', this prolly isn't the right place to have this discussion. These dudes aren't just atheist, they're hostage towards the idea of religion. I don't judge 'em, I always felt I have no right to judge them.

Now, I think the best way to look at it; if you truely felt an entity came into your life and saved you from harm and sadness, of course you'd want to spread the message.

But, yes, social media is bad for spreading a lot of messages, because, it isn't real life.

With that said; I don't think it's my place to decide what's an appropriate way to come to spirituality. I guess if it helps one person, it was worth it.
