sounds like picking and choosing since the debut albums were hot garbage to me. why would it be the warm up and so far gone over the come up or room for improvement?
Because the whole the idea behind this is “artist had their whole lives to make their debut album” that process changed during the mixtape/blog era because we heard original album quality songs and projects prior to their mainstream ”label” debutsounds like picking and choosing since the debut albums were hot garbage to me. why would it be the warm up and so far gone over the come up or room for improvement?
Drake especially is a completely different artist from that first album. He was raw, paying his due to Wayne on every song. It was still at a moment when Wayne was his ceiling and I bet he never thought he'd surpass him.
AgreedTha Block Is Hot doesn't have much replay value tbh.
Wayne's debut album depending on what you consider his debut isn't in his top 5 either (if you consider it to be Guerrilla Warfare that's an argument tho)
those are blog era Mixtapes too. Along with Friday Night Lights . Anything else is revisionistWhat I’m saying is that a lot of people will say they’re real debuts we’re the Warm up and So far gone
