To the O.P- i don't think its quite fair to say he has fallen off. He has certainly been out of the spotlight, but I think that is more by design than anything else. Cole still has plenty of potential, and I don't want to give up on him just yet. Although I do wish he would diversify his lyrics, because he always seems to be rapping about the same thing !!
I hate this "what have you done for me lately" mindset that hip-hop fans have. The dude just dropped an album this time last year. His album should drop first quarter of 2013 (or in the summer at the latest).
Anyway, he DID drop some music this year on the low like "I'm a Fool", "Grew Up Fast", "Miss America", and "Visionz of Home" as well as appearing on Khaled, Tyga, and Game's albums this year. He's actually been pretty active this year.
