And people wonder why J.Cole moves units and has that dedicated fan base. This right here is why. Went to the Dollar & a Dream tour here in Atlanta last night. He shut that shyt DOWN. Came back for the encore and a snippet of GOMD and Fire Squad. Thought the damn floor was about to fall through, was too lit.

If you didn’t already think J. Cole was a stand-up guy, this story is bound to sway you.
Back in 2013, a female fan who goes by the Twitterhandle @princess_simba sent J.Cole a letter (viaReddit) telling him about her life and asking if he would show up to her high school graduation.
Cole agreed, but gave one stipulation—he would only come if she got into a four-year university.
Cole was definitely not playing around, but neither was this fan, who tweeted at Cole last year to see if he approved of her grades. To which he responded, “Very much. Keep going.”
She did and now she’s a high schoolgraduate on her way to a 4-year college. And guess who was there to watch her get that diploma? Why yes, Cole showed up and there are pictures to prove it.
Taking a page from Taylor Swift‘s book, Cole also plans to help this fan pay for part of her tuition. That is definitely the best graduationgift ever.
Later, Cole’s friend, Ibrahim Hamad, tweeted congratulations and revealed that Cole had rescheduled his tour around her big day.
J. Cole is for the children.

. even if he did it on some publicity shyt (why?) don't discount the actual act.
There's really no downside to an act like this, even if it wasn't genuine or was only form marketing (definitely not saying it was; this bum looking muthafukka doesn't seem like he's that big on creating a public image).
